The 2023 NAPLAN window is approaching, with the first test to take place on Wednesday the 15th of March.

On Tuesday the 28th of February, students in Year 3 and Year 5 will take part in the Nationally Coordinated Practice Test. Students will access the testing platform to ensure the school’s technical readiness and that all processes are ready for the testing window.

While students will have the opportunity to become familiar with all test types in the lead up to sitting the tests in March, next week they will complete an ‘Omnibus’ test. This test contains a combination of Reading, Conventions of Language, Spelling & Numeracy questions.

We ask that students in Year 3 and Year 5 bring along a set of wired (not bluetooth) headphones on Tuesday, as some of the questions have audio components. Please ensure these are clearly labelled. Some sets will be available for students who do not have their own.
