Listening to a special story is always a wonderful experience.
Thousands of children across our nation read the same book at the same time as part National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS).
Held annually, a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.
Popular author and illustrator, Aaron Blabey was selected with his book The Brothers Quibble. It’s an amusing tale of sibling rivalry and love which captivates the reader.
The students from our library committee organised our participation in NSS and shared the story with our Year1, 2 and 3 classes.
Check out our library blog to read all about it!

We loved the story of The Brothers Quibble. Thankyou to the Library Team for sharing the story with us and organising a great, fun activity.
Well done. 🙂

Glad to hear that Room 30 students enjoyed the story and activity. I think you will also enjoy other stories which Aaron Blabey has written. His “Pig the Pug” has been shortlisted in the Book of the Year awards this year. It is available now from our library!
