On SATURDAY 30TH JUNE the Grounds Committee have organised a Working Bee.  There are a number of small projects around the school grounds that require many hands rather than just the groundsperson’s.  The Working Bee will commence at 8am in the Street and you can help for as long or short as you can afford.  We will be very appreciative of any support.

The areas to work on include:

  • Mulching the Bonica roses at the front corner of the school (cnr of Edward Beck and Young St)
  • Project No. 2 – “Operation Mushroom” – making and inserting cement mushrooms for the garden area outside Room 6 in the Street; committee members will guide this project
  • Paint work in the Terrace area (TBC)
  • Digging out an area of the Nature Play space to fill with softer soil/sand to create a digging space

Please bring along digging and raking tools, gloves, bucket and/or a paint brush.

We look forward to having your help to make some improvements to our school.

Thank you.
