Welcome back to term 3.  Hopefully everyone enjoyed the break from routine and the time with family. Many children have eagerly shared about their time on holiday, travelling or spending time with friends.  It is obvious that students have returned eager to learn and teachers are passionate about providing  engaging and challenging learning programs for our students.

Reception classes have welcomed Henny Penny hatching eggs, and students are excitedly and eagerly watching the eggs hatch and the chickens develop as part of their learning program this term.

Sue Thomson is on leave this term and we welcome Meg Hayes and Chelsea Easton to the Performing Arts teaching role. John Brown is enjoying some time away and we welcome Carlee Cox to room 10 during this time.

The building works are progressing well. If you have visited the school this week you may have noticed that our Administration staff have moved into their new office and this can be accessed via the front doors.

While still a work in progress, we have also started moving into our new STEAM building and making use of new teaching and learning spaces. Classes that have moved included include Japanese, Performing Arts and Visual Arts. Some of these moves are temporary until the final stages of the build are completed.
