This Friday we are going to hold a Remembrance Day Service at Woodend School on Friday 10th November as the 11th falls on a Saturday.  Hopefully we will be able to use our new COLA and enjoy being in the shade.

All of our lovely Woodend School Community are welcome to attend.

We ask that you arrive before 10:35 am as classes will be gathering and we are intending to have a prompt 10:50 am start. Please stand at the rear or to the side of where the students will assemble.

Students will lead the service and students will be singing ‘In Flanders Fields’ as well as ‘I Am Australian’. The Last Post and Rouse will be played with a minutes silence held as close to 11:00 am as possible. A Wreath will be laid by a student.

So, in short;

When: Friday 10th November
Time: 10:50 am start
Where: To be held under the new COLA

We would love to see you there.

Kind regards,
Steve Freeman
Principal
