Last Sunday 28th July, thirteen of our students rode our K-Pow Pedal Prix car around Victoria Park racecourse.  For some of these riders, it was only their second time riding and so not only did they have to learn how to ride but also maintain the stamina to complete one or more laps and to improve on their times.

For many parents, it was their second time attending the race.  There were many parents learning to ‘marshal’, help riders with changeover, set up marquees and repair parts of the car.

We are very proud of all the riders who did their personal best and did their best for their Pedal Prix team. Congratulations to: Ashton, Tyler M, Lachlan B, Liam, Louis, David, Ruby, Mitchell, Tyler S, Lachlann, Kai, Liam S and Ryan.  We thank our Pedal Prix parents who showed a spirit of goodwill, all helping in some way to make the day successful for the children.

We also thank the company, ‘Stubby’s Ink’ for wrapping the car.  It looked very modern.  Special thank you for the coordinators, Dave and Sammy, particularly for organising the car, marquees, rosters and our new t-shirts!

Our next and final race for the year takes place in Murray Bridge on 21-22nd September.
