Dear Woodend Primary community
This year, a number of our Year 4, 5 & 6 students are diving under the sea for our production of “The Little Mermaid Junior”. We have been busily rehearsing and will be performing our show in June. Tickets will be available in Term 2 for our performances, so keep an eye out for more information.
Early in Term 2, we’re hosting a musical bingo fundraiser night for the musical on the 3rd of May in Morphett Vale. The event will include a silent auction to raise funds for props, sets, and staging. All information and tickets for table bookings for this event will also be available shortly, so keep an eye on our blog for this exciting event. This event was well received last year and the night was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
To make our auction a reality, we are seeking unique and interesting items to auction off. If you own a business or know someone who can donate to our auction please complete the form linked below or make contact via email or seesaw. If donating a product isn’t possible, we also greatly appreciate monetary contributions. Last year a few items we had included: a singing voucher, artwork, earrings, 3D printed items, plant pots, a fishing rod, an esky and a kokodama – just to name a few.
Your contribution will be vital to helping us succeed in putting on a fabulous show. As always, your contributions are valuable to our community and will be clearly acknowledged at the event and in our programs come production time.
