This year during Book Week we held a whole school ‘Writing Challenge’ to promote writing across the school. Students were given the writing prompt “A wonderful and magical place…” and were able to create writing pieces of their choice. Some students made books, wrote passages, stories, poems and made recordings. We were taken to magical worlds with dragons, toadstools, fairies, wizards, angels and even some villains! Staff were amazed at the quality of the writing pieces submitted and had a very difficult job narrowing down our school winners.

Staff wish to congratulate all students who entered our challenge. Our writers showed great imagination, creativity and bravery in their writing. As a school we have a lot to celebrate in regards to our writing skills and we are proud of your efforts.

We congratulate our year level winners and overall whole school winner. We hope that your awards give you the encouragement to continue writing amazing stories.
