This year, we will be holding a School Colour-Run as our major fundraising event! Organised by our SRC and parent network, this event is designed to raise much needed money towards improving The Street learning and play spaces and purchasing a portable stage set up for performing arts, assemblies, and more!
About the Program: The School Fun Run promotes healthy and active lifestyles while helping us raise funds! It’s all about participation, with students treated to a great day as a reward for their fundraising efforts. Family support is key to our fundraising success and we encourage everyone to get involved. All students are able to participate in this event.
Parent Involvement: Not only can you support the school and students with your sponsorship – but you can join in on the fun! We would love to welcome parents and family members to attend the Colour Run event in term 4 and watch your children. Parents are also welcome do the Colour Run this year! For a $10 donation to this fundraising initiative (via QKR) parents can run the course at lunch time, with children watching from the sidelines… parents will be able to sign up to join the colour run in term 4.
Fundraising Closes: Monday 26 September
Order Prizes by: Friday 30 September
Colour Run: Friday 28 October
SchoolFunRun brochures have been sent home with children – these have instructions on how to raise money and order prizes.
Students who raise just $10 will receive a reward for their effort. The more they raise, the better their reward – don’t forget to check these out in the sponsorship form!
We are asking ALL STUDENTS TO REGISTER ONLINE for Colour Run Fundraising – even if you are submitting cash to the front office or QKR, please still register online at schoolfunrun.com.au Registering online is how you will receive your prize!
The easiest way to help your child raise money is through online fundraising, where students raise an average of $120. On top of raising more money, it’s also safer and easier than door knocking and you don’t have to worry about handling money! To start fundraising online, go to your student profile page at schoolfundraising.com.au and share your online fundraising link with everyone!
Note: When you register online you do not have to share your link or fundraise online if you do not wish to do so. Your details (Student Name & Class) are for admin use only.
Cash & QKR Funds:
If you would prefer to collect cash donations, you can submit cash to the school office or through the QKR app. Your total cash donation will need to be recorded online to the office to count toward your prizes.
To record your cash donation online, simply…
- log in to your online profile at com.au
- click ‘edit cash amount’ to enter the cash amount you have received/are donating
- submit the cash to the office or submit cash via QKR
- the cash donation you make to the office must match the cash amount you have entered in your online profile
- cash amount is added to online fundraising amount (if any) as a total for prize selection
All fundraising money must be submitted online, turned in to the office, or paid via QKR by noon Monday September 26
After all money has been collected you will receive an email instructing you to order your prize.
Prizes must be ordered by Friday September 30th and will be delivered to students on the Colour Run event day
- log in to your online profile at com.au
- click Order Prizes
- choose the prize you want!
Most students choose just one prize, however you can select as many prizes as you’d like! You just have to choose the higher prize first… but don’t worry it’s all worked out for you when you order your prizes online.
2022 FUNDRAISING GOAL:
Our ultimate goal is to raise $25000 online total (this equals $15000 for our school). This would allow for both the stage and the street and this is how much our school raised at our first colour run in 2018… we’d love to match it this year! To inspire all students to participate in the Colour Run Fundraiser we have some added incentives this year…
- Whole School:
- If we raise $10,000 = all students receive an iceblock on colour run day
- For every $1000 raised after that = a staff member will be slimed on colour run day
- And if we beat our record of $25,000 raised = we get to slime Mr Henher!
- Top 3 Classes
During this fundraising period we want all students to encourage each other, cheer each other on with kindness and respect, and participate in order to support the school. The top 3 classes will be named our Crazy Colour VIPs and will get some added bonuses and fun on colour run day (more info on our VIP experience to come soon.) The teachers of the top 3 classes will also receive a special prize!
The top 3 classes will be determined as follows:
- The class with the most funds raised in total
- The class with the highest student participation
- The class with the best team spirit – students who are encouraging, kind, enthusiastic supporters of the fundraiser
- Sliming Students
We think the whole school will be excited for the prospect of sliming teachers at the end of the colour run day… this will be an exciting addition to this event! We will be choosing students to help slime teachers based on the following:
- most funds raised
- highest numbers of donations received
- best helpers and encouragers
- random draw – all students who fundraise will go into a draw to help with sliming!
Thank you to all families for participating in this whole school fundraiser! The reward for all of our hard work will be a very fun colour run day in term 4… here is a video of our last colour run to help get everyone excited for this event.

I have set up my daughters fundraising profile but can’t find the option to record any cash donations. Does this need to be done via a computer instead of accessing on a phone?
