Remembrance Day Assembly

Friday 9th November (as the 11th falls on a Sunday)

11:10 am to approx 11:30 am
On the Netball Court next to our 3 Flag Poles

All are welcome to attend.

A short ceremony of Remembrance will take place with the laying of a wreath
and the playing of the Last Post and Rouse, concluding with the National Anthem.

Sunday 11th November 2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914-18).  One hundred years ago, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare.

Each year at 11am on the 11 November, Australians observe a one minute silence in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.  We will observe our one minutes silence on Friday 9th November.
