Recently Scientist David Lampard came to Woodend to put on an outstanding show focussing on the Scientific properties of water. All year 3 to 7 classes were invited. We learnt about how SA Water works through each stage to filter grey and salt water for use in our homes. We investigated bubbles, surface tension, water as a gas, liquid and solid, as well as how important it is for us to use water wisely. It was a thoroughly engaging and entertaining show.
