On Thursday 10th of August a team of 10 boys represented our school at the Sapsasa Basketball Championships. Our team played 6 games throughout the round robin competition.

We went down by 4 points in game 1 of the day against Victor Harbor who ended up winning the competition. In game 2 we played a tight contest against St Peter Lutheran and thanks to our captain, Josh, who made a great shot under pressure we were able to tie the game 13-13. Game 3 became our first win of the day against Hawthorndene and this set up victories in games 4, 5 and 6 against Hawthorndene, Morphett Vale, Seacliff and Sheidow Park.

I would like to thank the team for their efforts on the day, the parents for helping to score and transport and Mr Natar for coming along and helping the team on the day. I am very proud of the boy’s achievements throughout the day and it was pleasing to see them represent our school in the right way.
