Year 4/5 Touch Rugby

On Wednesday, 15 June, 20 students combined from year 4/5 went to represent our school and compete in the 2016 Primary School Touch Football championships. We had a boys and girls team participate in the event and played with great effort and sportsmanship for the entire day. The students should be proud of their achievements, the girls finished the day in 8th position and the boys finished 4th.
A big thankyou to one of our year 7 students Josh who gave up his lunch times for several weeks to come along and help coach the students. He then attended the championship day and coached the girls team for the duration of the day and did that role with great confidence and responsibility. Another thankyou to the large group of parents who helped transport our students to and from the event and were there on the day to watch and cheer on our teams.
