‘It takes a village to raise a child’ is an African proverb which means that it takes an entire community of different people interacting with children in order for children to experience and grow in a safe environment.

SSOs play a vital role in the successful running of our school and in working with our teachers and students in classrooms.  Our SSO’s work hard to provide a positive and supportive environment so our children can enjoy learning with their teachers. SSO week provides an opportunity for us to celebrate and publicly thank our fabulous SSOs for the amazing work they do as part of the team to support our students, teachers and families.

On behalf of our community we would like to recognise the contributions of:

  • Angela, Trudi, Kerri –  Front Office and managing our finances
  • Dave – IT support
  • Sarah – Library Support
  • Ashleigh, Dana, Jenny, Kym, Sharyn, Lisa, Sam and  Sofie – Student Support
  • Amanda, Kate – Kitchen Garden
  • Ken – Grounds

On Wednesday we will acknowledge our SSOs during the Book Week Parade. We are organising a special morning tea and every SSO (School Support Officer) will be recognised throughout the week by staff and students.

We would like to  publicly thank our SSOs for all that they do. We have a great team. Please feel free to join in with our appreciation.
