Woodend has a proud history of raising money for the Heart Foundation. Every three years we ask that students fundraise and/or make a donation towards this charity. Money raised goes towards valuable heart research. We have all been affected by someone who has had a heart attack, stroke or heart health problems. Woodend’s Jump Rope team members raise money every year. We now ask for the assistance of the greater school community. A sponsorship form will go home on Friday. All donations, no matter how small, are welcome. You may begin handing in money to the Front Office as of Monday 29 August or you may go online to make your donation. The final date for money collection will be Monday 26 September. In Week 9 (19 September – 23 September) our PE teacher, Mr Hehner, will focus all his lessons doing jump rope activities.
