National Walk Safely to School Day is this Friday 20 May.   Now in its 17th year, this annual event, encourages us to walk and commute safely to school. We see it as a community event and would like to see as many families involved in order to promote Road Safety, Health, Public Transport and the Environment.

Walking to school is a positive way to:

  • reduce the level of air pollution
  • reduce traffic congestion
  • learn about crossing roads safely
  • be active!

If this is not possible you might come with your family on a bus.  This promotes the use of public transport.

SRC will have stickers to hand out to those who participated.
