Yet another superb Sports Day! The day started with a sea of colour as House Captains from Fast Force, Strength Squad, Determined Division and Courageous Crew led students through their chants, warm up and encouragement speeches. We were fortunate to have so many parents, carers and extended family members join us for all or part of the day. We were overwhelmed by the support for Canteen with many volunteers operating the barbecue, serving drinks or preparing sausage sizzles for classroom orders. Pedal Prix were appreciative of the donations of sweet treats for sale and for families purchasing to support their fundraiser. Mr Hehner and his team must be congratulated for the day’s success. They worked tirelessly during play breaks and after hours to ensure the events were set up, communication was clear and students understood their roles and responsibilities. Although there is one team considered the winner, we believe that all participants were winners and applaud each student’s attitude and effort to support their team. Results of the day were: Determined Division: 2535, Strength Squad 2510, Courageous Crew: 2500 and Fast Force: 2455. Congratulations to all!
