On Wednesday in week 7,  Today Tonight journalist Paul Makin came to our school to do a story on the health program that Mr Lamshed and Mrs Aparicio’s classes have been running.

Our boys and girls groups have both been doing work about respect and how we get along with others. Mr Makin came into Mr Lamshed’s class first and he wanted to video us doing our health lesson.  We talked a lot about what we have been learning and about how being a man isn’t about being all tough and aggressive, it is about respecting each other and being responsible.

I think having these lessons has been a good experience. I think other schools should be doing this as well because it teaches us a lot about respect not just towards boys or girls but to everyone and it is great fun.

The video of the Today Tonight story is above.
